Adult Ministry
  • The "Adult Class" meets each Sunday morning. It follows a ten-year curriculum which provides a comprehensive study of biblical and systematic theology, Bible survey, backgrounds, geography, hermeneutics, historical theology, and contemporary issues (see the "Adult Education Plan" under "Church Information / Statements of Faith and Practice").
  • The "Discipleship Bible Study" meets on Thursday evenings during fall and spring semesters. This informal study is led by one of the pastors of the church. It is designed to answer questions and to build a foundational knowledge of the basic doctrines of Scripture. Childcare is available upon request.
  • "Women's Bible Study" meets on Tuesday mornings during fall and spring semesters. Childcare is provided.
  • "Home Groups" meet monthly on Sunday evenings in the homes of various church members (September through May). These meetings feature an interactive Bible study, group prayer and singing, and a fellowship meal. Children are included.
  • Four annual "Men's Breakfast" and "Women's Brunch" gatherings provide excellent opportunities for mutual encouragement. Following the meals, time is spent in biblical discussion of a practical topic pertaining to men and women.
  • Several adult activities and all-church winter and summer retreats are scheduled annually. The weekend retreats are held at a camp. The activities include events ranging from broomball, volleyball, and bowling, to Christmas caroling and picnics.
